Sanctuary meetings
Sanctuary meetings happen most week-ends, at 17 Richmond Crescent, Billingham TS23 2JP.
We meet alternate Sundays for breakfast at 9.30, followed by Iona Morning Prayer at 10.30, finishing around 11.30.
We also meet some Saturday evenings. This always begins at 7.00 with a 'bring-and-share' meal (the hosts provide pudding, guests bring contributions for a main course - anything is acceptable). This leads into a meeting around 8.00 - it could be discussion of a topic, or a more reflective activity, or a mix. The aim is to provide 'a safe place for the de-churched'.
Although we see eating together as an important part of the meeting, it is always OK to arrive after the meal. If you want to find out more about Sanctuary, ring Paul and Dorothy on 01642 897935 or e-mail ptswilson@yahoo.co.uk.
